Code Refinery sponsors Regulatory Strategy workshop at the NC MedTech 2011 conference.

Research Triangle Park, NC. Code Refinery along with ibiliti sponsored a workshop on Creating a Strategic Regulatory Plan for Market Clearance. The presenation covered key steps for designing and implementing a strategic regulatory plan. The workshop also provided information on identifying the most commonly required product tests needed to support a submission as well as the most common pittfalls one should avoid in the regulatory process. The workshop was conducted by Ms. Tammy Carrea, BSE, RAC a leader in the area of regualtory compliance for medical devices. Ms. Carrea Ms. Carrea has more than 20 years of experience managing quality and regulatory affairs within the medical-device industry. Her responsibilities include operational- and manufacturing-related compliance, U.S. and international market clearance and post-market regulation. Code Refinery installs software for automated plasma screening at BioLife Plasma and National Genetics Institute

Research Triangle Park, NC. March 31, 2011. Code Refinery successfully completed development and on-site installation of custom software used to automate plasma sample preparation for infectious disease screening. The software application integrates a robotic sample processor which prepares the plasma samples for screening. The application was installed at BioLife Plasma Services in Hoover, AL and at National Genetics Institute in Los Angeles, CA.

BioLife Plasma Services is a leader in the collection of human plasma, which Baxter processes into a variety of life-saving and life-sustaining products and therapies. These include therapies for hemophilia, immune disorders, trauma and other life-threatening conditions. BioLife operates approximately 68 plasma-collection centers in communities across the United States.

National Genetics Institute (NGI) provides advanced genetics testing services for blood screening, medical testing, and clinical research. The company offers industry leading assays for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis A, B, and C (HAV, HBV, and HCV) viruses and other infectious agents and has pioneered robust, sensitive, and high throughput methods for pooled specimen nucleic acid testing.

The custom software manufactured by Code Refinery was part of an overall hardware and software upgrade for an entire line of older instruments used in plasma sample preparation. The software was developed under formal design controls to ensure compliance with FDA regulations and was fully documented, tested and verified prior to delivery and installation.

Physcient selects Code Refinery as partner to develop software for surgical instruments

Major lab instrument vendor selects Code Refinery to develop instrument software

Code Refinery, specializing in the custom software development for medical devices, clinical and lab automation products, was selected by a major lab instrument vendor to provide custom software components used to integrate various lab devices into vendor's laboratory automation software application.

Code Refinery to present FDA compliant product development capabilities at the 34th Annual Computers in Cardiology Conference 2007 at Washington Duke Inn, Durham, NC.

Bristol-Myers Squibb signs service and support agreement with Code Refinery to provide support for automated system used in the QC for infant and adult nutritional products.

Code Refinery, located in Apex, NC, which provides software solutions for critical applications that are required to be FDA compliant, will continue to provide service and support services for a turnkey system developed for Mead Johnson, Evansville, IN which was also developed by Code Refinery. The automated system is used to test the nutritional content of infant and adult products. The system was fully documented and also compliant with FDA guidelines as well as electronic signature requirements.
